Teaching Profession Interest inventory has been developed to measure student teachers’ interest in the teaching profession. It is an example of the self-report instrument in which individuals note down their own likes and dislikes. Five dimensions of professional interest of student teachers, namely – Professional values, Professional norms and ethics, Personality of a teacher, Psychological aspects, and Innovative teaching methods are being measured. 30 items were selected for the teaching profession interest inventory. Out of 30 statements, 18 statements are positive and 12 statements are negative. A time limit of 30 minutes is given to fill the scoring key.
