Description
This standardized version of the Stroop consists of two parts. In the Color Task, the individual reads aloud a list of 112 color names in which no name is printed in its matching color. In the Color-Word Task, the individual names the color of ink in which the color names are printed. The SNST may be administered and scored by individuals with limited training. Interpretation of the resulting Color and Color-Word scores requires professional training in psychology, psychiatry, or educational testing. A stopwatch is required to administer each 2-minute test.
