Perception of parental expectations is operationally defined as, “the perception that adolescent have about how much their parents expect from them in terms of academic performance, personal maturity, meeting futuristic demands and ambitions”. The main purpose of the development of this inventory was to identify and explore the unique and exclusive expectations of the parents of adolescent students in India. It consists of 30 items including factors like Personal Expectations, Academic Expectations, Career Expectations, Parental Ambitions. The adolescent students of age 13 to 19 years can be administered this tool. It is available in English.
