The perceived Parental Abuse Scale helps to determine children or adults who have been abused by their parents or primary caregivers to further deduce attachment, emotional endurance and coping. It consists of 15 items on a 5-point Likert Scale. The age range is above 18 years and above and is available in English. Time taken is 10 to 15 minutes. The questionnaire can be used in research areas like personality psychology and attachment. The scale can also be used as a tool to identify abusive history and emotional barriers in therapeutic or counseling settings.
