Description

It measure cognition in individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia and related disorders using tests selected by experts. The MCCB was developed to aid research toward creating medication effective for improving cognition in individuals with schizophrenia.

A standardized battery. Consists of 10 individually administered tests that measure cognitive performance in seven domains: speed of processing, attention/vigilance, working memory, verbal learning, visual learning, reasoning and problem solving, and social cognition.
