Description
The MCS is a succinct and yet comprehensive tool for assessing the coping among married couples. The MCS is a hand scorable tool which addresses every important coping strategy. Each partner responds to a list of 34 coping behaviors in the context of marital relationship, classified into six types of strategies namely: Positive Approach, Support Seeking, Avoidance, Stone- Walling, Self- Blame, and Aggression. The scale is standardized on a sample of 200 married spouses with high concurrent validity and test-retest reliability.
