Description
The CAVLT-2 is composed of one recognition and two free-recall memory word lists designed specifically for young people. The first free-recall word list is presented for five trials. The second freerecall test is presented as an interference list, after which the individual is asked to recall words from the first list. Following a brief delay, retention is assessed by a second recall test of the words from the first list. Finally, words from a new recognition list are presented; the individual must decide whether each word was included in the original free-recall word list.
