Description
The purpose of this tool was to develop a valid and reliable scale to assess resilience skills among normal adolescents. Such a scale will be helpful in identifying the level of resilience skills present in the adolescents and helps in identifying the element of resilience skills which need improvement for overall success among the adolescents. An attempt has been made in this study to identify, develop and validate the five dimensions and sixteen sub-dimensions of resilience scale necessary for developing resilience skills among adolescents namely – social resilience (7 items), emotional resilience (18- items), Psychological resilience (14- items), physical resilience (7- items) and academic resilience (9- items). Thus, the tool comprises a total of 55 items which helps in measuring the Resilience skills among adolescents.
