Description
The reading and Writing Motivation Test is developed and standardized by Debdulal Dutta Roy. This is framed with one’s appraisal of the relationship between reading or writing motives and the reading or writing outcomes. The test consists of 42 statements, (6 items X 7 dimensions), there are two statements with options –‘a’ or ‘b’, along with 2 dimensions of reading and writing motivation. Age Range- 8-10years(school students). Time limit- 30 minutes. Language Availability- English. The is based on the motivation profile one can design appropriate teaching methods for students in schools. The profile gives insight into one’s extent of reading or writing motivation for different intrinsic and extrinsic motives.
