Description
The CSRPI assesses a child’s social-emotional strengths and weaknesses; it elicits information about a child’s inner thoughts and feelings; and identifies emotional, behavioural, and interpersonal concerns in a child. Eight individual components encompass nonverbal projective, verbal self-report, and verbal projective methods. Two self-report measures have optional non-verbal response formats. The sentence completion items reflect self, school, family, and peer domains. Projective, gender-specific story cards depict family, self, school, and peer-related scenes. Two drawing and two colouring tasks allow for non-verbal expression; 20 clinical variables are suggested for interpretation.
