Description
The ATLD is developed to assess the learning disability among children. The test is based on 7 dimensions of the learning disability:
1. Dysgraphia
2. Language difficulty
3. Dyslexia
4. Rapid Reading
5. Dysphasia
6. Vocabulary
7. Dyscalculia
Purpose: The test is designed for early detection and diagnosis of the learning disability among students. So that it becomes easier for parents & teachers to plan for the remedial measures needed for the child. This will be helpful to prevent behavior problems of a child.
Levels and Age Group: ATLD is basically used for the age group 8-14 years. Further ATLD is divided into two levels.
LEVEL1- ATLD = developed for the students of grade 3 to grade 5 (Primary School).
LEVEL2- ATLD = developed for the students of grade 6 to grade 8 (elementary School).
