Description
The Adjustment scale assesses the adjustment of the parents of children with autism, comprises of six dimensions, namely – Home Adjustment, Social Adjustment, Health Adjustment, Marital Adjustment, Emotional Adjustment and Financial Adjustment. It is a five point Likert type rating scale and contains 80 items. The response options given to the respondents are “Never”, “Rarely”, “Sometimes”, “Often” and “Always”. The adjustment scale can be administered on parents of children with autism who are in the age bracket of 5 to 10 years attending special schools, resource centres and rehabilitation centres. It is available in English and time limit is 30 minutes.
